What a fun time at the zoo! My sister-in-law had warned me that the summer time heat isn't the best time to see the animals at the zoo, but we were fortunate to go last Thursday on an overcast day! We saw the animals and had a ball with cousin MayMae! We also got really lucky, and Aunt Lindy decided to join us, it was great to have an adult per child ( I highly recommend that!). We rode the train and carousel, and got our exercise walking around the park. We hit the Varsity on the way home, always a treat! We were very sad to say goodbye to our cousins last night, but it is such a wonderful feeling knowing how much closer they are going to be in North Carolina!
