What a valuable time these last two weeks were with my family! Our family is really good about getting together on a regular basis for birthdays and special occasions, but it is always difficult to catch up with everyone. There are so many of us! Having two whole weeks in the same house, you really have the time to catch up with one another. Everyone came at different times, and most overlapped. We missed Andy, Gina, and Christian! There is always next year! Some highlights: riding the boat to Dockside, golf cart cruises, spotting gators and other wildlife, eating, playing games, people watching at the pool, lots of magazines, bike rides, sunrises, sunsets, crossword puzzles, toddy time, Water Festival, sand castles, and my favorite, sitting on the porch just talking.
Thank you to my parents for having us all to your home. It was a wonderful vacation, because we were all together.
